I used to be one of the contributors to a group blog named Dad Revolution. It is a terrific site with a great bunch of dads who also happened to be amazing writers. I posted most of my more serious pieces on fatherhood over there, and I really enjoyed interacting with the other contributors. It was extremely cool.
Unfortunately, it seemed like we all got really busy at the exact same time. As a result, no one has posted since last April, which in internet time seems like a decade. I’ve thought about trying to revive the site a few times, but with my shore duty over, I just don’t have the time. I would love to do it, but I have other priorities.
With all that in mind, I’m going to start re-posting my pieces from Dad Revolution here. There are two primary reasons for this. First, nobody wants their work to just disappear into the ether, and I’m no exception. Second, I’m still getting my feet under me at my new command, so it’s hard to find the time to write up anything original (aka, I’m taking the lazy way out).
Therefore, if you’ve been following this site for awhile (thank you, by the way, I’m humbled), you may recognize a few “new” posts over the next couple weeks. I’m proud of most of them, and I hope you enjoy reading them.
